Brief History of the Winery:
I was born into a hardworking local family. Several generations lived together, so I gained insight into many work processes, including grape cultivation and winemaking.
In the village, almost every house had a small vineyard and a small cellar. It was no different in Szólád and Nezdé, where my grandparents lived, and I saw the activity almost as a game. Through my father's workplace, I gained insight into large-scale grape cultivation. We raised new vineyards and leased vineyard areas for cultivation.
What really fascinated me, however, was winemaking. Life writes its big "vargabetűs" (complex) letters, and despite having multiple qualifications, I wanted to stay in my hometown, so I adapted to the opportunities available.
First as a hobby, then encouraged by relatives and friends, I started and continue winemaking to bring joy to others as well. I also completed a winemaking school.
What started as a hobby out of passion has remained, only the quantity has changed over the years. With the support of my father, I launched my winemaking business: StaVINO Winery and Wine Filling Station.
Due to our capacity, we currently have limited own vineyard area, so we expand our wine stock with locally purchased grapes.
I believe that the joy and diligence we bring to our work are reflected in every glass of wine we fill.
During the work process, we pay special attention to preserving the fruity flavors, taste, and aromatic characteristics.

For me, StaVINO symbolizes tight family unity, the legacy and memory of ancestors, and the opportunity of the future.
